10 Places to Update Your Home Address Once You've Moved

So you've moved…now what?

Well, that is a loaded question. There’s lots to be done upon moving, from getting unpacked and re-organized in your new space to furniture shopping and getting to know your neighborhood. Right now we’re going to talk about updating your new home address, which is an important step for so many reasons.

Here’s a list of recommended places/accounts to update your home address on:

1.) Driver’s license/government-issued ID

2.) U.S. Postal Service (link below for mail forwarding)

3.) Voter registration (link below) 

4.) Bank account(s)

5.) Your employer
6.) Your doctor's office(s)
7.) Your insurance provider (health, life, car, home, etc.)

8.) Any existing online registries, such as a wedding registry

9.) Frequently shopped sites, such as Walmart or Amazon

10.) Don’t forget to tell you friends and family where you’ve moved to!

Important Questions to Ask Yourself Before Completing Home Renovations

Below are some important questions you need to ask yourself before getting started with home renovations. This is because renovations, whether functional or aesthetic, are costly and often time-consuming, and you want to be sure your time and hard-earned money will pay you back. 
Here’s a few things you should ask yourself to help you determine which home renovations are the right choice for you, if any at all:
1.) Do I see myself living in this home for the next 5+ years? (Be mindful of the possibility of any life changes, such as starting a family or an unexpected job relocation.)
